Description:

Steel Appeal is a turnkey bluewater cruising sailboat ready for her next adventure. This boat has it all, just pack your bags and move aboard. The boat was sailed by the current owners from Portugal to the Caribbean in 2015/16 and they have sailed her throughout the Caribbean to Guatemala where she now lies.

She is outfitted for offshore sailing and has recently had an extensive refit and an overhaul of maintenance and repairs completed. it is set up to go just about anywhere. The sailboat is available anytime after the 1st of April 2023.

Steel Appeal was commissioned in 1993 by the Ray Harris Marine shipyard in Barry, South Wales.

Ray Harris originally started building Steel Appeal for a client but ended up taking over ownership of the yacht for his own retirement as the original sponsor was overcome by build costs.

Ray is a talented engineer and specialist woodworker who meticulously built Steel Appeal to a very high standard. Ray had also previously built another Van de Stadt design (34-foot LOA)
